| Related Cost or Subsidy Available | Free. You are welcome to become a member of the Alzheimer Society for $20 annual subscription. |
| Other information | We would like to emphasise that people do not need to be referred by a GP or other health professional. We do get a majority of our clients this way but anyone can ask for our help. We believe that we have time to offer families and clients affected by dementia that other professionals don’t have. We don’t prescribe medication or make a diagnosis but support, give advice, information and generally assist with access to day to day help. We are very approachable. As this is a growing health issue we promote awareness in the community We provide a listening ear for those people affected by dementia and their careers. It can be a hard and lonely journey for those affected and we have the time to visit you in your home and provide advice or suggestion to help. |
